Tapestry's 26th Season
In Newmarket, Aurora and King City
Wasn't that a party? Last June Tapestry Chamber Choir welcomed old friends to join them in celebrating its 25th anniversary. It was a wonderful day and the choir is excited to begin its second quarter century. To kick it off, Tapestry returns to Trinity United Church in Newmarket for its December concert which will honour St. Cecilia and prepare us for the Christmas season to come.
In March the choir will partner with Tony Browning's York Chamber Ensemble and Trinity Festival Chorus to present a fulsome performance of Mozart's Requiem Mass in D Minor. The same concert will be performed twice at two different venues three weeks apart. March 1 is an evening concert at Trinity Anglican Church, Aurora and March 23 a repeat performance takes place at Marylake Shrine in King City.
Please note the location and start times and take care when ordering your tickets.
The season ends back at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Newmarket with lighter fare, called That's Entertainment! Please come and bring a friend!
If you think you would be a good fit with Tapestry please contact us. We welcome new voices (especially tenors and basses) and would like to hear from you if you have a cappella choral experience and enjoy the repertoire we present.
Please contact us at email@example.com to arrange to attend a rehearsal. We rehearse most Sunday evenings at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Main and Water Streets, Newmarket from September to June for concerts in December, March/April and June.
